Can you recycle razor blades?

Most safety razor blades are coated in PTFE (commonly known as Teflon), which makes them non-recyclable at standard local recycling centres. To recycle your blades, you’ll need to use a specialist recycling centre. When the tin is full, tape up the top and dispose of it safely, or take it to a specialist facility.
