Recycled teak wood coffee table — handmade in Bali from upcycled fishing boats.
This coffee table has a story worth telling. Handmade in Bali using teak wood reclaimed from retired Indonesian fishing boats, each piece carries the history of the sea in its grain — traces of original colour, weathered texture, and the natural patina of a material that has lived a previous life. No two tables are alike, and that’s entirely the point.
At 122 × 61 × 41cm, it’s a substantial, well-proportioned coffee table with a generous surface for books, plants, a tray of drinks, or a curated display of objects. The teak has a warm, honeyed tone that deepens beautifully over time — the grain is bold and varied, with occasional knots, natural markings, and remnants of original fishing boat colour that give each table its own distinct character. In a room, it reads as grounded and confident without being heavy — the kind of piece that anchors a living space and draws the eye without demanding attention.
Teak is one of the finest hardwoods in the world for good reason. It is naturally dense and exceptionally hard-wearing, with a high oil content that makes it inherently water-resistant and self-protecting. Unlike softer woods that require regular treatment, teak improves with age — developing a rich silver-grey patina if left to weather, or maintaining its warm amber tones with occasional oiling. This is a table built to last decades, not seasons.
Stylistically, it works beautifully in living rooms with a rustic, natural, bohemian, or eclectic aesthetic. Pair it with a woven jute rug, linen sofas, and natural accessories for a cohesive look — or let it stand as a statement piece against a more pared-back, contemporary backdrop. The mix of textures and tones in the reclaimed wood means it brings warmth to any scheme.

Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. For indoor use, occasional treatment with teak oil will maintain the warm amber tone. If left untreated, teak will gradually develop a distinguished silver-grey patina — both finishes are beautiful and intentional.
As each table is handmade from reclaimed wood, variations in colour, grain, and finish are natural and expected — each piece is unique. Images are representative only.
