Peacock Butterfly Painted Plantable Seed Cards

The Peacock Butterfly Painted Plantable Seed Cards by SJH Designs offer a meaningful way to celebrate both nature and heartfelt connections. Crafted from fully biodegradable material embedded with wildflower seeds that attract bees, this A6 card combines a plantable format with beauty.

The delicate water-colour illustration of a Peacock Butterfly represents transformation and renewal, reflecting its journey from caterpillar to butterfly. Printed using water-based inks and gentle low-heat inkjet methods, the seeds remain unharmed. After sharing your message, the card can be planted in soil, allowing the embedded wildflower seeds to grow. Germination and flowering depend on planting and growing conditions. A gesture with the possibility of a second life beyond the message.

A colourful note for a nature lover

Orange wings, blue eyespot details and dark outlines bring the Peacock Butterfly artwork to life against the textured white card. Larger butterflies sit among smaller illustrations and handwritten-style butterfly labels, creating a lively nature-inspired design. Choose it for a birthday, a thank-you or a thoughtful just-because message to someone who enjoys butterflies, gardens and wildflowers.

The plantable material makes the card part of the gesture: after the message has been enjoyed, the recipient can try growing the embedded seeds rather than keeping it only as a paper keepsake. The seeds are wildflowers described by the supplier as attracting bees; this is not a butterfly-rearing kit.
